Wine Road Barrel Tasting March 2-4 & 9-11, 2012 (Free 3rd night!)
Make either one of these weekends a wine country escape, or book the entire 9 day stretch for a relaxing sojourn with wine-themed beginning and ends. Barrel Tasting Weekend on the Wine Road has become so popular it had to be expanded to 2 weekends just to accommodate all the participating wineries. Be sure to note that many of the wineries are now offering tastings on the FRIDAY of the event weekends as well.
Focused entirely on wine, this weekend allows you to taste wines still in barrel, purchase wine “futures”, and talk to many of the winemakers. An essential trip for oenophiles, especially if you’ve got a taste for the Pinot Noir that grows so prolifically here on Westside Road.
The Crab and Fennel Fest is usually on the first weekend of Barrel Tasting, so if you come to the first Barrel Tasting Weekend, don’t miss this “bonus” event.
