The back of Westside Lodge is perched high above the Russian River. Watch the fog lift from over the river in the morning, enjoy the sunshine and light during the day from the covered porches, watch red-tailed hawks soar in the afternoon hours. Experience dinner outdoors at the dining table, or retreat to the porch after dinner inside and watch the moon rise over the redwoods.
Both porches span the entire width of the house; each is about 275 square feet. The upper porch, shown above, with dining and conversation areas, is located right off the great room.
The lower porch, shown here with daybed, is off the bedroom level and is a perfect place for a nap or a few hours of playing cards, or just catching up with old friends.
