Westside Road, a stretch of the Russian River Wine Road, is gaining notoriety for its incredible scenery, and even more so for the incredible wines that are grown here. The road runs from River Road in Forestville, and ends in the center of Healdsburg. Many bicyclists and motorcyle riders find this stretch of roadway the perfect destination for a day of physical activity punctuated with a little wine appreciation.
This 15 mile scenic drive winds through acres of redwoods, vineyards (notably Pinot Noir), farms, and winery tasting rooms from standout producers including Gary Farrell, Moshin Vineyards, Porter Creek, Rochioli, Williams Selyem, Davis Bynum, Mill Creek, Armida, Hop Kiln, and new tasting rooms are popping up each year. From Westside Road, you may continue onto West Dry Creek Road, where you’ll find dozens of other wineries and more breathtaking scenery.
